Join our "Cooper Trooper" Team as a runner/walker for this or any other race you are participating in. Not only will you be fulfilling a personal goal of finishing the race, but will also be helping families battling childhood cancer.
What is required of me?
You are already doing the physical training and preparation. To become a "Cooper's Trooper" you will simply recruit your friends and family to support you financially, by making a tax-deductible donation to The Cooper Trooper Foundation on your behalf. It is very simple and easily done on-line, or can be mailed in.
We are asking runners to raise just $200 as part of their effort. If only 10 of your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc. donated $20.....You are there! Most individuals have raised much more without any extra effort. In fact, a simple email sent to everyone you know, explaining what you are doing, may be ALL you do. Including a link in your email, so that the recipient can click on and go directly to our site to donate is the BEST and MOST SUCCESSFUL way to accomplish this.
You may also choose to use social media, such as Facebook, to bring attention to your efforts, or simply mail a letter or ask people you know. Be creative! Learn as much as you can about our foundation from the website, so that you can spread the word about what we are doing to help siblings, in particular, who are impacted by childhood cancer.
